  • Opening SMARTCONSTRUCTION demonstration facilities in Japan (Komatsu IoT Center) (June)
  • Fostering the growth of SMARTCONSTRUCTION as a core business
  • Expansion of launching construction equipment that respond to comprehensive applications of ICT "i-Construction" advocated by Japan's MLIT (April, 2017)
